Ordination to the Diaconate

Your prayers are invited for Doreen Haywood, Stephen LaSalle, Dena Thomas, Russell Wardell, and Janice Whiteley as they prepare for ordination to the diaconate.

The service will take place at Christ's Church Cathedral on Sunday, May 26 at 4:00pm. Bishop Susan Bell will be the ordaining bishop and celebrant and the Reverend Tom Vaughan will be the preacher.

All are welcome to attend this exciting event in the life of our diocese, either in-person or virtually via the diocesan YouTube channel! Clergy are particularly encouraged to attend and vest as a sign of support; the liturgical colour is red.

We also ask for your personal prayers for the ordinands and that in the coming weeks they be remembered at worship services throughout the diocese.
